I'm discovering the world of blue Skinley technical drawings this week. Before the internet they were a mainstay for scratch builders in railway modelling. It's easy to imagine leafing through them in your local model shop a few decades ago, hunting for the elusive model you are looking for. I wouldn't swap the internet for anything, but I do miss that excitement of visiting my local model shop and the surprises to be found. A couple of hundred Skinley drawings are being listed on my new shop site this week and if you want to travel to Burnham in Bucks, you are welcome to come and leaf through the ones I haven't listed yet and try your luck!
