Provenance: Bought at the May 2021 Warwick & Warwick auction.
Body condition: This is a Gauge 1 model, with the body measuring 565mm buffer beam to buffer beam in length and 85mm in width which is close to 1:32 scale in size. The bogies are 1:32 scale I believe. The body has possibly been scratch built or it may be done from a pre-moulded form. It is finished to a reasonable standard with sprung buffers. The roof easily detaches with two screws and the bogies release simply with a single bolt each for maintenance. The wheels and pick ups have surface corrosion.
Motion: Motor runs well pulling 0.3Amps at 12V when power applied to the motor poles directly. It is dead on the track with an occasional fit and start. It will need a thorough service and the power pick ups and wheels stripped and cleaned
