Provenance: This Rebuilt Patriot was part of closing down sale from a model shop, whose remaining stock was sold at the Excalibur auction in December 2021. This loco was originially named R.E.M.E, but by the later BR period it had lost its name plate, so this model is prototypically right
 
Body condition: Built from a College Models brass kit to a good standard. The frame is "square". Gears show little wear. Decent sized can motor. Painting and weathering is good, with real coal added. No instructions
 
Motion: It runs smoothly at all speeds and the motor pulls a low healthy amperage under load.
