Provenance: Purchased as part of a collection of 10 DJH kits from the Warwick & Warwick auction January 2021
Condition: Body and chassis built to a good standard. Chassis and body are "square". Spray painted in unlined black to a fair standard. The body is secured to the chassis by two easily accessible nuts
Motion: Mashima 1626 motor with Comet two stage 1:50 gearbox. Good working order in reverse, pulling a healthy amperage under load. You can see this in the video. However, going forward, the worm and upper gear appear to bind and amp pull climbs to more than 0.4 amps and the motor stalls. I can see no binding of the valve gear and visually can see that both the worm and upper gear are badly worn. They will both need replacing
